Der kan kun indsendes videoer på maksimalt 90 sekunder. Videoerne må ikke indeholde musik eller andet, der kan være beskyttet af ophavsret. Ansvaret for overholdelse heraf påhviler alene indsender. Spar Nord Fonden kan ikke gøres ansvarlig for følgerne af eventuel overtrædelse. Videoerne må kun indeholde eget videooptaget materiale.
Videoerne må ikke indeholde vold, sex, politiske eller religiøse emner.

Deltagere, der søger støtte, skal have bopæl eller adresse i Danmark.
Den månedlige konkurrences vinder på www.10tilforskel.dk er det projekt med flest stemmer ved konkurrencens udløb. Ved pointlighed mellem to eller flere vindende projekter i samme måned, trækker Spar Nord Fonden lod om hvem af deltagerne, der ender med at vinde de 10.000 kroner.
