Lærkereden har også plads til såkaldt funktionelt hjemløse kvinder – det vil sige kvinder, som ofte af forskellige psykosociale årsager har svært ved at være i deres egen bolig. Lærkereden er for kvinder uden et kaotisk misbrug.
