Has created 350 jobs and serves informal Settlements with 326 toilets. Each customer is welcomed by a Fresh Life Operator, who provides toilet paper, sawdust, soap and water for hand-washing. Each clean toilet also contains a waste bin, sanitary bin for women, a mirror, coat hook, and a solar lantern for early morning and nighttime usage.

MCDA has now expanded to a lead agency in these sectors and now includes WASH in their work. Den Åbne Linie er Ældre- og Handicapforvaltningens servicetelefon. Ring hvis du ønsker information om offentlige tilbud eller gerne vil have hjælp til noget.

Krisecentre for Kvinder i Aalborg
Krisecentret tager imod kvinder (også med børn), der har været udsat for psykisk eller fysisk vold. Du kan både ringe og møde op på adressen dag som nat. Er der plads kan du blive der indtil du finder en passende bolig og har fået hjælp. Er der pladsmangel vil du blive henvist til et andet krisecenter.
Du kan også blot tale med nogen, uden at skulle flytte ind.

Misbrugsafsnittets Åbne Rådgivning - Aalborg
En rådgiver i Visitationen i Den Åbne Rådgivning vil tale med dig om dit alkoholforbrug og øvrige situation for herefter sammen med dig at planlægge et eventuelt behandlingsforløb for dig. Der vil typisk være brug for 2-3 samtaler til denne udredning. Hvis I bliver enige om, at et behandlingstilbud i Alkoholbehandlingen er det rette tilbud til dig, og du ønsker det, vil du blive visiteret dertil. Der vil også være mulighed for at visitere dig til et eksternt døgnbehandlingstilbud.

Bo-og Gadeteamet i Aalborg
Gadeteamet er for dig, der er socialt udsat og har brug for akut hjælp til at løse opståede problemer. Gadeteamet arbejder ikke som bostøtte eller i længere varende forløb, men hjælper dig gerne med at søge om at få en bostøtte. De kan også komme hjem til dig, hvis du ønsker det.
Gadeteamet er et team bestående af fem socialarbejdere; to pædagoger, en socialrådgiver, en sygeplejerske og en social– og sundhedsassistent. De tilbyder:

Et besøg af Brobyggerne er ganske uforpligtende.Vi kan tilbyde følgeskab de første par gange af en brobygger eller din kontaktperson i kommunen.

We don't help people get assistance but we help by making it easier to find the local assistance and to find the right type of local assistance according to personal needs.

Helps people find organizations to assist according to personal criteria
The world is full of problems. We each need to think about what matters to us personally and what are the important criteria that aid organizations should adhere to. The public has the responsibility to care about how aid organizations provide assistance and to ask that they help those most in need, if that is a personal criteria for you. So far this has not been possible as there is no oversight or insight of aid, but if we all chip in, we can get a grask and aid delivery can be improved.

Consumer Council Debt Counseling is a national NGO that also has an office in Aalborg. You can both call, write, and show up for an appointment if you are socially disadvantaged with serious debt problems.
Our counselors work voluntary and unpaid. They are trained (or students) financial advisors, economists, social workers and lawyers and the advice is both anonymous and independent.
