En klub for psykisk sårbare unge i alderen 18-35 år. Vi skiller os ud ved at vi er drevet af frivillige kræfter hvor flere har eller har haft psykisk sygdom inde på livet enten ved dem selv, pårørende eller i forbindelse med uddannelse.

I klubben handler det dog om meget andet end sygdom! Vi hygger os i hinandens selskab, griner og får skabt et netværk.

Onsdag i lige uger holder vi filmaften. Man møder bare op i åbningstiden og man må gerne tage en ven/familie med første gang. 

Her er plads og rum til alle, hvor der er forståelse og accept for forskellighed. 

Requirements:
Du skal være ung imellem 18-35 og have kendskab til psykisk sygdom Der må ikke indtages alkohol eller stoffer i klubben og dens aktiviteter og man må ikke være påvirket når man ankommer, med undtagelse af receptpligtig medicin.

By helping a child go to boarding school, you are securing him a place to sleep, three meals a day, two school uniforms and a proper education. This can be done for as little as $4.38 a day.

Here are some examples of how your money will be used directly in the field to change the lives of these street children:

  • $410: 1 trimester of school fees at Sonrise Boarding School
  • $150: 1 year of local transportation costs to/from school
  • $26.15: 1 mattress for the dormitory
  • $20: 1 pair of black shoes
  • $7.69: 1 child’s basic health insurance for a year
  • $5.54: 3 pairs of flip flops

Every dollar, euro or Rwandan franc that is donated through our secure site goes directly to support the school fees of these children. One hundred percent of the donated funds are spent directly in the field. There is a 9.6% administrative charge for online donations.

The “Open Environment” is in charge of finding the kids on the streets and making them feel welcome enough to come get a meal, a bath and general assistance.

Fra børnehaveklassen til og med 12. klasse koster det 550 kr. pr. år 

For de 550 kr./år får barnet følgende:

- op til 2 stk. uniformer pr. år - hvis behov
- 1 par sko pr. år (Der er pligt til at have sko på i skole i Gambia)
- skoletaske (maks. 1 pr. år og kun ved behov)
- et måltid sund mad dagligt på alle skoledage
- gratis adgang til hospitalsbehandling
- ekstra eksamenshjælp i 3.+5.+ 6. klasse på grund af landsdækkende eksamener
Desuden betaler vi et mindre beløb vedrørende vore børn til skolen for at administrere og/eller indkøbe tøj, sko, kopiering, billeder m.m.
