Dissabilities in Rwanda

The GoR is currently (Aug. 2012) making a survey to map people with dissabilities, so that special programmes can be outlined. Survivors from the genocide can also access special medical treatmentocal health centres countrywide, according to Theophile Ruberangeyo, Director of FARG in the New Times.

Mentally challenged and handicapped people are still looked down upon, and they are often not getting the support or the respect they deserve.
