Volunteer Jobs Available: • Shelter Volunteers - Come to the shelter and help out with the different activities - walking dogs, giving them water, cleaning cages, nursing puppies and kittens or helping at the front desk.
• Fostering - One of the biggest needs we face is fostering of healthy Indie puppies and kittens or abandoned dogs. If your lifestyle does not allow you to keep a pet but you would love to take care of one on a temporary basis then this is the thing for you. Minimum foster ing period is 2 weeks.
• Field volunteers - If you are experienced with the handling of strays and dogs in general and you have your own transport you can opt to help with rescues in your area. Our ambulances can never cover all calls that come in every day. You can help us by bringing in an injured/sick animal. Or checking on any case reported from around your locality.
• Volunteers with experience in photography or writing skills can help by contributing to the website and facebook page.
• Event volunteers - You can be a part of any Friendicoes event like fundraising tables or awareness camps or any other such activities organized to promote our cause.
• Adoptions - You can help with adoptions and the related house-checks.
• Fundraising drive - You can also help by raising donations from friends/family/neighbors and colleagues.
Donation in kind like newspapers, rice, dalia, old clothes, old bedsheets, mattresses, carpets etc are also of great use and volunteers can help by collecting these items on behalf of the organisation monthly or quarterly.
