Find help in your area or find the best cause to aid
If you want to donate your money to help someone, you should be able to choose your own criteria and preferences and there should be relevant information such as transparency, bottoms-up approaches, local procurement, ecologically sustainable methods etc. available. Further, if you are looking to receive aid you should be able to find information on the providers of aid, and chose the best one for you, based on relevant information.
Hopefully, charities will find it in their interest to make such information accessible, by adding their information and e-mailing it to thecharityreview@gmail.com. Regular citizens are also counted upon, to assist the process though this: Guide to collect information on a charity (NGO).
Much information is still lacking - help to improve aid by providing, the lacking bits of information.

Aid Evaluator seeks volunteers to help find information about organisations.
To gather all of the information needed to help people, all over the world, volunteers play an essential role at Aid Evaluator. The hope is that ordinary, as well as extraordinary, people will become responsible for their local area. Being responsible means updating the site on the available offers of help and trying to keep this information updated.

Aid Evaluator
Help should be easy to find. Relevant information about those who offer help must be available to both donors and those in need of help.
Better information is the best way to facilitate a more efficient aid delivery system. It is too much work for any one organisation. It can only be done by ordinary and extraordinary volunteers like me and you.
