On jan 2021 219,487 citizens lived in Aalborg (Aalborg in figures), which makes it one of the largest cities in Denmark. There are many local offers of assistance if you have problems with health, abuse, integration, or just would like some company. Most of the offers are aimed at Danes, however, they are often run by volunteers, who wish to help, and who might well speak english. There are also many self-help groups and many places to volunteer and get assistance.
