The Inclusive Society: Together Ending Malnutrition project

Inclusive Society: Together Ending Malnutrition is a project that will promote the participatory implementation of poverty reduction policies and contribute to reduction of child morbidity related to malnutrition in Rwanda.  More specifically, the program will work to improve the nutrition service delivery for children under five and women of reproductive age in Ngoma District by supporting the initiatives of local authorities and civil society organizations in the implementation of Ngoma’s District Plan to Eliminate Malnutrition (DPEM). This project will build capacities of both health center staff and CHWS to implement and monitor DPEM activities, including improving nutrition services delivered by CHWs.  In addition, civil society organizations will be enabled to develop nutrition activities and to advocate for the nutritional needs of the most vulnerable people.
