There are app. 6400 homeless Danes. They are especially located in the capitol area of Copenhagen and this number does not include the many non-danish homeless people, who are also looking for a way to get by. For the Danes many have a mental disability but many are also homeless because they cannot afford the rent of an appartment (SFI report 2019).
