Work in Progress

Education/Capacity Building NGOs

Rwanda has a good Network withing Education called, Rwanda Education NGO Coordination Platform (RENCP) with mostly INGOs but NGOs are also welcome, as the aim is to create oversight to address the issues withing Education and communicate the message to those with the ability to make positive development.

As an NGO you are bound to ask:

  • Are we helping the right people? There should be a map covering who is helping where, to avoid overlaps and assist cooperation. This can be done when NGOs have given me info about where they operate. Also, I would like vulnerability to play a part, as well as profitability. But that kind of mapping needs an expert to share his or her knowledge.
  • Can we cooperate with other NGOs and improve what we do? For now you can already see which organizations work in your area (under Areas) but an easy map can also be made once most of the NGOs have e-mailed information in about where you work.
  • Which donors can we ask for assistance? Perhaps the list below can give you a sense of direction.

Aid Evaluator seeks volunteers

To gather all the information, about who helps where, volunteers play an essential role at Aid Evaluator. The hope is that ordinary, as well as extraordinary, people will become responsible for their local area. Being responsible means finding the aid organizations, clubs, or associations, which help and trying to keep this information updated.

If you're interested or just wish to know more, do write to: info@aidevaluator.com
