Guide to collect info on an area

Help to improve aid by providing, the lacking bits of information

If we are ever, to get some insight into the state of development, we have to do it together. Efficient development has to include information from both; donors, recipients and the charity organizations. Everyone can contribute with knowledge, found on-line or in your local community etc.

To find aid organizations, try to look on-line, potentially a phonebook, or ask local. It's not hard work but it will take a lot of people to finde all the availale help, so that people everywhere can find the nearest and best aid for them.

You simply e-mail whatever, relevant, information you find to: info@aidevaluator.com then it will be added it the right places.

Follow the directions below:

If possible, find a horizontal stylled picture of X town.

No copywritet photos, preferably one you have taken yourself.

Name of X village, city, or municipality

Here it would be nice with a few lines to a brief description of X. Especially, if it struggles with any particular societal or social issues. If you like you could make questions for a poll: see example: here

Next up, is finding all of the charity organizations, NGOs, unions or clubs that aid people relatively free of charge. It may be useful to think about how you should go about finding help to serious issues. For instance where to go, if you know someone who is being abused, trafficked, molested or someone who has a substance abuse or other types of addictions, they may need help to quit?

Organizations

  • Like the Red Cross
  • The local community initiative
  • etc. ....

Advice

  • Like traffciking
  • depression
  • etc. ....

Support for people struggling with a disease

  • Like ADHD
  • AIDS
  • etc. ....

Religious Conjugations

  • Like Muslim Aid
  • The Salvation Army
  • etc. ....

Second Hand stores

  • Like the Red Cross Second Hand
  • The Salvation Army Second Hand
  • etc. ....

Clubs and unions

This is the difficult category but it is included because many clubs and unions offer good help and assistance. Like clubs for the elderly, the disabled, orphans, mentally challenged, young mothers, indigenous group gatherings etc. ....

The Greatest Problems facing this community

This you can only answer, if you know a little bit about the community. If so, you will need to come up with 2 to 4 problems, which people can vote about. If others propose issues that more people find problematic, your suggestions will be taken out, so you don't need to think to hard about it. It's just there so that the community may express what they see as their biggest issues, which should be dealt with.

Relevant links

If other organizations or web-sites have good information about the aid offered in this area, do include likns to them.

Events

Depends on whether or not you wish to keep your site updated. If you want to keep it up-to-date then go ahead and add what may be relevant events or conferences. Otherwise skip it.

Aid Evaluator seeks volunteers to help find information about organisations.

To gather all of the information needed to help people, all over the world, volunteers play an essential role at Aid Evaluator. The hope is that ordinary, as well as extraordinary, people will become responsible for their local area. Being responsible means updating the site on the available offers of help and trying to keep this information updated.

If you're interested or just wish to know more, do write to: info@aidevaluator.com

Aid Evaluator

Help should be easy to find. Relevant information about those who offer help must be available to both donors and those in need of help.

Better information is the best way to facilitate a more efficient aid delivery system. It is too much work for any one organisation. It can only be done by ordinary and extraordinary volunteers like me and you.
